I just noticed that i get the mixed content errors in IE8 on our site. I have used Fiddler and have found the issue but I can not for the life of me figure out where it is coming from. Ifs a cookie or something that refs msg.asp?content=210. I don't understand.
The url is https://www.lcparts.com Also this happens at the checkout too so I think the issue exists in the header file. |

you don't plan to run the whole site in HTTPS do you? there's really not a need to. Run your shopping and content pages in HTTP, redirecting to HTTPS only for checkout and "my account".

I fixed it by updating the highslide.html.packed.js to the 3.5.1 vr. :)

Do you have any CSS rules specific to IE (say [if lt IE 9]) in which as style sheet calls an img vis HTTP. That sounds like the likely culprit to me from what you've said here.
