Hi everyone!

Is there somehow possible to add an extra field (not custom field like input or search) to a product? I would like to add an extra image or text string to all items within our SALE-category. I can’t see that it is possible in another way than manually add that string on each product individually, is there? I would like it to work by a global change, with a standard text or image.

There is an option today in Global Changes ' "Assign the following option".  If you select "Not for sale" enter a text here: '

An extra option: "Add custom text field" would be nice... Clap

We created a separate field for people to upload a picture (to customize) and assign it to a product.

We used one of the existing fields and modified the type of field in the dbase, and the way it was presented in the product display.  Is this what you are trying to do?  Or are you simply asking how to add a "sold out" image to when the inventory is zero?

What we did was change the "Not for Sale"  "Message to display" coding , not to be dependant on the "Not for sale" box being ticked. AND if there was any text in this area, that the product was still for sale.

This way we could display anything you want in this space. :)

Have to dig the coding out, if you cant work it out.

Hope this helps.
