I tried to following the PC User Guide tip about moving header and footer to root and downloaded the index.asp from the developers corner to the root as well.

Everything seems to work except that when clicking on a product, the viewcat.asp as well as the others can't find the header and foot now.

1. Is the PC USer Guide assuming that (2) sets of header and footer will be maintain at the root and the PC folder?

2. If not, does not all the .asp's in the PC folder somehow need to be pointing to the header and footer at the root? If so what is the easiest way to do this without having to modify all the .asp paths?

The instructions in the PC User Guide seems to be missing something.

Yes, you need to maintain 2 sets of header/footer.
