Yes, there are many stores that are actively using PayPal Website Payments Pro. Hopefully one of them will reply to your posting.

As for the question you directed to us: the server requirements are indeed more complex than those of most other payment gateways, but they are completely outside of our control. PayPal choose to favor security over "convenience" by asking users to register a personal certificate on the server as part of the process. Our integration of PayPal Website Payments Pro is based on the PayPal SDK and we are not aware of any upcoming changes to the SDK. Therefore, we do not believe the server requirements will be modified any time soon.

Has anyone implemented this gateway?  I have it ready to go but I have reservations about my hosting company's tech support installing the certificate.  They do not seem to be on top of things.

Is this process going to become more streamlined, EarlyImpact?
