We just purchased an add-on from a third-party developer for this kind of thing. I'm not sure how in depth it is since we have yet to implement the changes, but it might be worth looking in to.

We're currently in the process of setting up and testing PC to make it do what we need. One of the hiccups we've bumped into is a definitive way to track and report on our sales reps' orders taken over the phone. The way we had it setup before in another store software was super duper customized to show the products sold. We've looked into using Affiliates to do this in PC, but we're not sure if it's the best way to go.
