    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.productcart.com/member_profile.asp?PF=290">Greg Dinger</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2083<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 27-October-2008 at 9:29am<br /><br />Our approach with <a href="http://www.euphoriababy.com/store/pc/Zoey-the-Zebra-by-Meghann-O-Hara-62p1016.htm" target="_blank">http://www.euphoriababy.com/store/pc/Zoey-the-Zebra-by-Meghann-O-Hara-62p1016.htm</A><a href="http://www.euphoriababy.com" target="_blank"></A> was to avoid the issues we would confront with generated navigation (and such as you present here).&nbsp; <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Instead, we defined a single included&nbsp;file that references a series of subcategory includes for the top nav.&nbsp; Then for the left nav, we built a second included file that contains references to the same subcategory includes, as well as conditional logic to decide which subcategory menu to display down the left.&nbsp; It requires manual editing but doesn't suddenly blow up when you add that last category that causes overflow.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>You can look at how we tackled the top nav layout, using "UL" and "LI" to distribute the items across the top, as that code may help you.</DIV>]]>
