    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.productcart.com/member_profile.asp?PF=4">katharina</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2199<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 30-November-2008 at 10:43am<br /><br />I've been running my business on the web since 1996 and I have been at all those things.&nbsp; I had page counters, and even links to some analyzing site.&nbsp; All cool I have to say, but they will get old eventually. &nbsp; I now have the analytics from my webhost for free (<a href="http://www.webhost4life.com" target="_blank">www.webhost4life.com</a>).&nbsp; Counters can be manipulated, and what number do you want to show to your customer.&nbsp; A low number may be a turn-off, and a high number may make you look so big that a customer thinks you cannot take personally care of them.&nbsp; Quite honest I looked at those things a lot in the beginning, now I don't even care.&nbsp; I now ask how people have heard about us and only care for some of the media (like Martha Stewart Magazine) we are covered in. &nbsp; Another thing I care about are the referals from affiliates, but those are being tracked in the form of sales in PC.&nbsp; Another thing to consider is that those items may slow down your site, if they have to load content into your pages.&nbsp; Overall many of them are cute toys, but not neccessary to run your site.<br>Katharina<br>]]>

Does anyone know of a legit company or even if it's possible with .asp files? Thanks for your help!]]>
