After a few tries I did not have any further problems - I did not have any issues with trying to upload more than 1000 items.

Thanks for doing this.

One comment and a suggestion:
1. The files are hardcoded for productcart/*. They should use whatever the site folder is.
2. The output would be more usable in xls format IMO.

We can't replicate this problem. We tested both with MS Access and MS SQL. You can look at the source code: it's extremely straightforward: it loads the short and long description. It uses the short description unless it's empty, in which case it uses the long description. I've used the updated file today.  There is one problem with it.  (I'm using the sql version.)  The generated feed does leaves the description blank.

  • The attached file has been tested with version 2.76
  • The upcoming v3 will also feature the new code
  • The file needs to be unzipped and uploaded to the Control Panel folder (called "pcadmin" by default, but typically renamed on your store).
