Yes, this is supported by the new ProductCart Synchronizer for use with QuickBooks: a single QuickBooks company file can connect to multiple ProductCart-powered stores.

QuickBooks uses an application called Web Connector to communicate with ProductCart. ProductCart - during the "Synchronizer" Setup Wizard - creates a settings file for Web Connector, which includes several pieces of information, including the Web store location.

Different ProductCart-powered stores will generate different settings files for Web Connector, which will in turn be able to connect to each one of them separately to perform tasks such as retrieving the latest orders.

Please note: under a licensing point of view, multiple licenses of ProductCart Synchronizer will be required. This is true for all of our software. ProductCart is always licensed on a per-store basis.

Edited by earlyimp - 05-March-2009 at 6:37am

I am looking into upgrading another site to ProductCart. I want to use Quickbooks Synchronizer and have a question. Can you use this for two sites? Both sites will have some of the same inventory and all of the sales from the two sites are recorded into one Quickbooks file.
Thanks,
Kay
