    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.productcart.com/member_profile.asp?PF=290">Greg Dinger</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2596<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 27-March-2009 at 10:17pm<br /><br />I built a few stores with Access when I was beginning with PC and I no longer make that choice&nbsp; unless the client simply insists upon it.&nbsp; With any amount of volume there are too many timeout issues in places like shipping choices (checkout) and other points that could potentially lose sales.&nbsp; <a href="mailto:mark@cognecy.com" target="_blank">mark@cognecy.com</A>&nbsp;is the best guy for such work.&nbsp; Heck, as far as I know, he's the only guy that advertises such services.]]>

You could review the design on their test site and once approved, they could provide you with the header, footer,&nbsp;CSS files, images, etc. This way the developer doesn't have access to your site/server at all.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>The only drawback here is their design wouldn't be using your&nbsp;categories and products in the navigation of their test store.</DIV>]]>

When it is working, you move the changes over to the production site.&nbsp; Not a big deal.&nbsp; So where you have your store in the "productcart" folder, just name the other one "store".&nbsp; Another option is that when you launch, you just keep the "store" folder and get rid of the other one.]]>
