I'm trying to solve a problem and thought I'd ask to see if anyone else encountered this.  Here's my problem... I noticed that the #pcMainArea lost it's background color in IE8 and Firefox, but is fine in IE7.  Here is the css code that I'm using, it's nothing fancy, mostly unchanged from original.

After trouble-shooting this, I added a border statement (last line in code) to see what would happen.  It worked fine in IE7 but IE8 doesn't seem to recognize the space, the border was placed between the #pcMainArea  and the #pcHeader.  That would make sence as to why there is no background color.

 

I tried everything I could think of, removed the footer.asp, checked css puncutation, etc.  Still no background color.  I researched this on the internet and found hints that it may be a problem, just haven't found any resolutions.

 

I would greatly appreciate any help on this issue.
