We hijacked the "drop shipper" feature, and cloned the product admin tools. When the crafter logs in successfully, the drop shipper menu includes product admin features. We narrowly restrain what they can do with products, but the point is that they can list their own products for sale.

As drop shippers, the system naturally notifies them of any sales, and they must ship the product and update the shipping status.

By associating these customer product sales with a drop shipper ID, you might imagine how one might then define fairly robust reporting support, and other features.
