Every day we are learning new things that we can do with ProdutCart.  We started experimenting with BTO Quotes.  We think this is going to be a great feature for us.  However we found a design element that may give us issues.  As far as I see I don't see a way to delete quotes or have quotes expire after a set time.

Let's say we have a product selling for $1000.  Our cost is $700.  A customer submits a quote and we quote him $800.  He gets the reconfigured quote.  He doesn't buy it right away.  He sits on it for 6 months.  2 months after the submitted quote our cost for the product is now $900.  We have to raise our price now to $1200 but the customer was quoted $800 and was emailed a link to purchase.  If he does buy we would be at a loss of $100.

I double checked to see if there was a way to delete, inactivate, set an expiration date on quotes but I couldn't find any.  The only thing I could do is reopen the quote and delete the items configured.  I couldn't delete the BTO Product itself.  The major issue is that we would have to manage quotes now and keep it in mind when prices change (which does happen often).

Is there anyone that uses the quoting feature that runs into this issue?
