I guess I couldn't get the wording right to find it on google. I was trying to clear the database all at once, but removing all the products and then deleting the categories should work just fine. This is all the more reason to make sure you have renamed your control panel folder to something cryptic!</div><div><br></div><div>This will not, however, enable you to delete all categories. If you have so many of them that it's arduous to manually delete them all via the control panel, it is very simple to delete them all via script (or even easier with direct access to the database).</div><div><br></div><div>Also, just a heads up that there is some confusing terminology here: "delete" a product in the control panel actually just flags it as "removed" in the database; while "remove" in this tool actually does delete it from the database entirely.</div>]]>
