This is my first post, forgive me if I step on a rule, I accept criticism well.

I just got hired at a new job and am having trouble getting the left-hand navigation in our store to reflect the changes I make to categories. I hid one particular category, and it remains stubbornly visible, showing a product underneath it that is also hidden/not active. If you click it in the nav it returns an error no product page. 

I emptied my cache and cleared my history and still can't make that change with the Generate Navigation option under Settings. 

I'm running v.4.6
