    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.productcart.com/member_profile.asp?PF=543">desireeknott</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 714<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 24-May-2007 at 5:15pm<br /><br /><P>WE have some inventory items that have a set shipping cost and others that rely on the API's with FedEx and UPS.</P><P>Right now to get around this we have the shipping as part of the cost of the products that have a set shipping cost and mark it as having no shipping with it.&nbsp; This has many downsides such as when a percentage discount is used, they get a larger discount due to the shipping being added to the cost.</P><P>Being able to override the shipping calculator with a set shipping cost would be a huge improvement.</P>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.productcart.com/member_profile.asp?PF=57">dockgear</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 714<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 22-March-2007 at 5:33pm<br /><br /><P>Hey guys,</P><P>I'd sure like to see the ability to assign a shipping price on a per product basis.&nbsp; Specifically,&nbsp; be able to assign say $5.00 for the first unit ordered, then $2.00/unit after.&nbsp; And be able to assing this on a per product basis so different products can have their own pricing.&nbsp; Maybe also offer a select box to turn on or off the ability to override default shipping methods - just incase you have a custom table or real time shipping carrier in place.&nbsp; It could be a simple price per unit and price per unit after table that you input prices into when manually creating/editing or importing products.</P><P>Thanks!</P><P>Jeff G</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>&nbsp;</P>]]>
