you need to use a formula to calculate dim weight based on actual weight, then update your products.

I haven't activated FedEx shipping yet but after reading the instructions it seems that FedEx only summons the shipping weight from Productcart to determine the shipping cost which could result in incorrect charges for shipping. Since making individual products oversize to make sure they are shipped separately and that the vendor doesn't end up paying the shipping could result in the shipping cost being to high I suspect it would be logical to enter the dimensional product weight (L x W x H) divided by 166 (for pounds) instead of the actual shipping weight since FedEx and other couriers charge by dimensional weight as opposed to actual weight.

 If FedEx used the shipping dimensions from ProductCart they would probably automatically apply the dimensional weight.

Any comments or experience with this ?

I am not able to replicate this on our BTO v4.7 demo store.  What version are you running and does your cart have any customizations?

This post has been stewing for a while with no replies.  We want to feature the wish list feature a little more, but don't want the "Please enter your discount code" option.
 
If people enter discounts and they expire, we don't want them to think they are getting something they are not.

Thank you for your comments. We agree and can assure you that we take security vulnerabilities and issues like this very seriously, and in fact had previously posted a patch for the same (or very similar) issue back under v4.1:

However in terms of the current issue, it appears to be specific to IE10 only (at least in our tests) which is caching configuration pricing when the customer uses the browser's 'Back' button from the Shopping Cart Page (to go back to the Configuration Page). It would be very helpful to know if you are able to replicate this under other browsers as well?

At this time, we agree with your suggestion to remove the specifics of this vulnerability for security reasons and will contact you directly to verify the circumstances and post a full patch as soon as possible.

Hi,
  Wow, surprised this has popped up again!. Please rise a support ticket, and when you receive the confirmation email reply attaching the spreadhseet you used for the import. This is all to do with the import process translating special characters to make sure the import works cleanly and it should, near the end, translate them back.

On my BTO items, if you click "Add to Wishlist", a text field that's labled:
"Please enter your Discount or Gift Certificate Code (if any):" appears.
 
This only seems to happen on BTO products.  Any ideas why this shows up?
If people are adding to the wishlist for purchase later, they don't need to be prompted to enter a code - that's done during checkout.

It's definitely possible if you know your way around the code. However, nless you have someone who does, or is able to learn, you're gonna be better off paying someone like Greg and saving your time which would be better spent on other things.
