associate customer category to payment type

   Hi
Is there a way to associate customer category to a particular payment type. I have created a cash customer category which are similar to retail customers. I also have a cash as a payment type. My question is can I link cash customers to cash payment type. I have walk in customer so this association would help me process cash customers and at the same time not allow online customers under retail or wholesale category using cash as the payment option.

	Hi, Youi would need to add some custom code to restrict the visibility of the cash option to all customers not in the cash customer group. See : http://wiki.earlyimpact.com/how_to/show_different_content_customer_type as a starting point. Edited by Hamish - 14-June-2009 at 12:52pm

	Has this been figured out yet? I have attempted this with the code Hamish has recommended, but no luck.

	For what it's worth- This modification is done WITHOUT the code hamish provided. I'm sure that could would work- but I've achieved this with less modification.
