I was reading through the forum looking for something else when I came across this post. Having spent 7 years working for a mail order company back in the early nineties I recognise the importance of bin locations on picking slips It should be fairly simple to add a bin field to the database and then modify the asp pages that produce the picking list to include it. I added a couple of extra fields for a client and created them a simple secure inline editor so they could add the fields to the products without having to use the control panel to edit each one. It was a bit fiddly but not a major job. Nigel

Hi Folks,
There is now always the option of using Stone Edge Order management which integrates with PC - http://www.earlyimpact.com/productcart/stoneedge/ I've not used it myself - but some PC users use it & are very happy . |
