Brand like Categories Feature

   I would like to see brands have the same features as categories. I would like to be able to enter a description for each brand and have it display at the top of the page like categories. I would also like to have access to meta title, description, keywords for each brand. Also you could have a featured products for each brands.
Just a suggestion for a future version.

	I don't see a problem with that. The category would have the brand name with a logo for it. You can still have categories besides the brands, since you can have products be shown several times in various sections. Or leave the categories out completely and only do brands. Katharina

	I realize I could use the category feature for brands also but then the brands and categories would be included in the navigation together. I like to separate the categories from the brands, so I can have a Shop by Category and a Shop by Brand list. Visit my site at www.knifepro.com to see what I am talking about.
