This is so lame but I'm having a hell of a time getting these ugly blue
borders to go away. I'm working on a re-design of the shopping cart and as you can see in the original version of the cart there are no borders around these images (they appear only in IE-PC and Firefox-Mac): http://www.oldbridgecellars.com/store/pc/viewcategories.asp But they appear in the new design: http://www.oldbridgecellars.com/store/pc/viewcategories2.asp The thing is it's so hard to find where exactly to begin looking for an error because of all the dynamic stuff and the includes-I wonder if anyone here has some insight?? Thanks. |

Well, I'm no expert in css or anything like that but I have dinked around a lot with my own. :) So i know your pain.
1st I noticed your CSS files are not in the same folder or location. I don't think that matters too much as long as they are being referenced correctly. I found one file in: http://www.oldbridgecellars.com/obcStyles2.css and then the other in http://www.oldbridgecellars.com/store/pc/pcHeaderFooter2.css Maybe they need to be in the same folder. I can't be sure. The other idea I had was to maybe look at all of the borders you have and change them all to 0 border width and see if it goes away. I know it's got to be with a weird border not being defined or something. I hate the fact that image links can't have a border on them otherwise they turn colors. :( I noticed there's only 1 actual blue item and it's where it says: ".pcLeft_Title" but I doubt that's what's causing it. Well, after reading over this myself, I think I should just delete it because it doesn't look like it would help anyone. But hey...I typed it out so I guess I'll just submit it. Sorry if it confuses you more. |

Yeah, I agree my stylesheets are all over the place but like you say I don't
think it matters. See, they wanted a redesign of the whole site so I used all this fancy css to design the new site now of course I'm having a big headache trying to make the Product Cart match. I appreciate the feedback, anyway. It's so weird that not all browsers show the border. I think I'll start commenting out styles till something gives but if anyone else has an idea I am ALL EARS |
