Message Topic Search Topic Options Post Reply Create New Topic Printable Version Translate Topic

   Which file contains the query that ProductCart uses to conduct searches? I want to customize the search so that it DOES NOT search the description of each product. I also want to customize the query so it searches the metatag field of the product table in the DB.

	It is Showsearchresults.asp in the PC folder. Removing the search of the description field took our search speed from 35 seconds to 2-3 seconds. 	Thanks. What exactly do I need to remove in the file? There is a lot in the file and I've tried to edit some of it to remove it and have not succeeded yet.

	What version of the store are you using? If you send me your email I will send you my modified one (3.12 or 3.51). I took out short description and long description. Bill
