description to long for excel column limit

   I am moving my old database into product cart. I can export my info from my old database as a .csv which works great but I am finding I have a lot of descriptions running over the 255 character limit in excel97 column width.  I can also export from the old database as a .xml but I am not familiar with this file format.  Any suggestions how to solve this issue.

	Excel97 ?? Anyway, a CSV is perfectly fine to import into ProductCart.If you don't have a more recent version of Excel available perhaps try Open Office or Google Docs or even notepad to work on the CSV file.
