My client allows her customers to use a discount code each month off a single item, but what is happening is that customers are purchasing bundled products and applying the discount code. Is there any way to disregard bundled items when applying discounts?

Hi Pat,
If they are using V4 the answer is Yes - It's not a case of simply being able to exclude bundles though. In V4 the discounts can be focussed much more effectively with better controls on eligability and what the discount is applied to (no longer nescessarily the whole order). See the Restricting Applicability and New in V4 sections on the wiki page : http://wiki.earlyimpact.com/productcart/marketing-discounts_by_code SAo some work will need to be done to exclude the products that appear in bundles, or, alternatively, focus the discount codes on the desired products/categories. |

Thanks for your advice. I am encouraging my client to upgrade to version 4 as a start.
