We are a publishing company, and we're setting up a ProductCart store to sell our books direct to consumers. We have added custom serach fields such as ISBN, Cover type (Hardcover/Softcover), number of pages, etc. We're trying to make those custom fields show up on the item detail pages, but not having much success. What is the proper way to make those fields display for all products in our store? |

Select 'Products' from the main menu then 'Manage Custom Fields' You will see some other options on the page - select 'Manage Custom Search Fields' and you will see the display otptions at the bottom of the page.Nigel

I had already done that part. I have all my custom fields checked under the CP Details and SF Details columns (if I'm understanding correctly, the SF Details checkbox is to make the custom field show in the item detail page that customers see). But only 1 or 2 of the 11 fields we have defined is appearing in the storefront.

I had this issue last year.
Do you have to regenerate the navigation for them to appear?

Nigel,
I just regenned nav, and now I'm seeing more custom fields on the product detail pages. The ones where I'm not seeing all the fields may not have had values imported for all fields.
Thanks.

Thats good to here and I'm failry sure it won't display without a value.
Good luck with the rest of it. the custom fields are great for displaying this type of information.
