A very experienced Israeli ASP has had a brief look at the ASP code in productcart to pinpoint the Hebrew problem.
He noticed that the problem seems to be that the code saves the category name in the database after making some kind of encoding. Probably HTMLEncode. When he manually changed the category name in the database to be in Hebrew (and then regenerated the static menu) the site showed the Hebrew category name nicely (after setting the browsers encoding to Hebrew Windows). A quick and dirty try to remove all Server.HTMLEncode did not change this. maybe someone know about this issue and can help me to fix that? thanks |
