Hi All,

Is anyone gettting a large amount of errors displayed in the new error log in V3?

We are getting tons of errors on the

/productcart/pc/viewCart.asp page and the

/productcart/pc/login.asp page

I haven't been able to get any help on this so I'm wondering if any of you can help.

Here is a typical error:

Customer Reference Number: 468006083-24239
Date/Time: 10/4/2006 2:42:45 AM
Session ID: 468006083
Error Number: 13
Source: Microsoft VBScript runtime error
Description: Type mismatch
Request Method: POST
Server Port: 443
HTTPS: on
Local Address: 63.134.249.12
Host Address: 62.249.220.29
User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1)
URL: /productcart/pc/login.asp

Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is killing our sales.

Thank you.

bkats, please open a support ticket. We have no reports of these issues from other users, so there must be something wrong that is specific to your store. Two things to look into:

  • Make sure to review the v3 Upgrade Guide: did you take all the steps specified there?
  • Update to the latest version of ProductCart (currently v3.03)

I upgraded to the v 3.03 and the cart just blew up. It kept giving type mismatch errors also.

I had to export all the customer, products, save the images, then reinstall the store, including the database setup, then upgrade only to version 3.02, and everything has been okay since.

I have the same problem as bkats.

While I am the main developer, we also have a graphics person, who replaced header.asp with his own graphical version and we have a product person who is managing the addition and customization of product entries in the shopping cart.

I tried to debug Login, asp but it is 2300+ lines long..

I wish the error message would also spit out the Line number..
