I have ProductCart v3.51 and have been unsuccessful in activating the FedEx shipping option in the system. I have contacted Federal Express and they told me to sign up for their Developer Resource Center. The only thing is, that their D.R.C. page is only if you want to integrate their system into a regular web page, not into a shopping cart system. They also have NO CLUE what to do with ProductCart and suggested I contact ProductCart/EarlyImpact.
Whenever I try to use the activation form in PC v3.51, I get the following error: "There was an error activating your FedEx account. The FedEx servers may be down temporarily. Please try again later." It happens ANY time I try to go through the process. I tried doing this while on the phone with the Web Technician. He told me that the FedEx servers are receiving the data submitted by the Cart software but PC will not continue on through the activation process. Is there a manual way to "force" PC v3.51 to activate FedEx shipping? If not, is there at least a way I can manually add FedEx shipping options to the customer checkout even if it doesn't calculate a shipping charge? I just want customers to be able to select from FedEX "Ground", "Home Delivery" or "International Economy" I will manually add in the shipping costs when I process the online orders through our office system and our FedEx computer. Right now, PC only shows "UPS" and we don't offer UPS shipping services - ONLY FedEx. HELP!!!!

Hi Mark - it's been pretty well communicated around here for quite some time now that registered Fedex users were grandfathered into their service, and that new users needed to upgrade to v4.5 (or at least to 4.1, as there is a code bundle for that release) in order to register.
So the answer to your question is that you need to upgrade your store please.
FYI, Early Impact undertook a massive investment in getting the new integration certified with FedEx, so you do need to be on an active support plan in order to qualify for the new releases that contain that code.
