Does any one know how to set a flat rate shipping option? For example if I wanted to offer Flat $6 shipping on all domestic shipments using USPS, while still using dynamic shipping rates for all international shipping, is it possible.
I've searched all the technical docs and can't find a clear answer. Cheers, Bryan |

We are working on a mod, but before I go into the details, what about the following idea. I may be wrong, and I've not gone to look at a store with USPS active, so forgive me if this won't work. Couldn't you only activate USPS international services, and create a flat rate method named "all US domestic orders" that is set for $6?
Then, if the customer is outside the US, an international rate will appear. The flat rate will also appear but that international shopper should recognize that they need to select the appropriate USPS rate. Could you give that a try and let me know what it does?
If that doesn't work I have another idea.

Thank you for the suggestion. I hadn't realized I could set up a Custom Shipping option in that way. But it now looks like I can set up International shipping to use the built in USPS api, and all domestic shipping would be directed to the Custom Flat Rate option I created.
