Does anyone have a way to change the session time so that the shopping cart doesn't empty so quickly - and the content is still there the next day?

thx

It doesn't just warn the shopper - it keeps the session alive (and cart contents intact) as long as the browser is open.

Beyond that, if your shopper closes their browser, any cart contents will be lost and that is unavoidable under the current architecture of ProductCart.  My add-on is the only solution I am aware of.

bummer... my customers are often wholesalers who take a couple of days to make a decision on huge orders. I may consider both your add-on and a written warning to use the wish list instead of the cart

Want to save the contents of your cart for another day?
Use our Wish List feature instead.
All items can easily be added to your cart when you are ready to purchase!

thanks

I think you could easily edit the file (that GBDG's fix displays) to do just what you are saying, along with a link to the Wishlist.

I'm glad you brought that up because I'm going to do just that to ours.  Great idea!
