Hi, I have 3 different juices and they are all grouped in the same price range. What I mean is they have the same bulk price for each of them. Juice_A 4 bottles: $104.95 6 bottles: $134.95 Juice_B 4 bottles: $104.95 6 bottles: $134.95 Juice_C 4 bottles: $104.95 6 bottles: $134.95 I need to offer customers to mix and match between them since the bulk prices are the same and customers want to try different varieties. Example1: 2 bottles of juiceA + 2 bottles of juice_B (4 bottle price) Example2: 1 bottle of juice_A + 3 bottles of Juice_B + 2 bottles of juice_C (6 bottle price) As you can see, there can be a lot of different combinations. I really want to capture all this in the customers order. I know ProductCart offers combination purchases but I do not know if it can do something like this. I can't find any info similar to this. Anyone have a similar situation that is working? |

Hi John,
It all depends.... Are your Juices A,B,C all the same price for a single bottle? If so then it should be pretty straight forward. The areas you will need to read up on in the user guide are :- Product Bundles Cross Selling Quantity Discounts (by Category). You can offer discounts by %age or by $ amount, which, if your three bottles are the same price, should work out fine. |

Another great method is to use the BTO add-on - There you can have a "product" that is "Six Bottles" and the customer can select the combination of the different juices that they want. Each bottle has it's own SKU and stock level and can be used in the "4 bottles" and "single bottle" products as well. You can set the price of "Six Bottles" independently from "Four" or "one".
In fact - BTO is a great match for your scenario. |

Hi Hamish, Yes, my price of 1 one bottle is the same. I did look at the product bundles, and cross selling but I could not get it to work the way I wanted to. I am going to try again. You actually got me thinking about this BTO Addon. Do you mean the Build to Order software? |

Hi Hamish, I took a look at the demos in the BTO shopping cart and they look very flexible for customization. I wish there was a demo closer to my requirements so I can see what it would be like. Is the BTO version very flexible in desiging the interface for the customer? The reason I am asking is because in the demo I notice areas where customers can enter comments. I would not need any of these settings or fields. I would just like a simple interface where customers can customize the different juices like we said earlier (1,4 6 bottle pricing and the 3 different varieties). Are you currently using the BTO version? Can I get your opinion on it? John |
