Show Inventory / Out of Stock message on cat page

Message Topic Search Topic Options Post Reply Create New Topic Printable Version Translate Topic

   I want to show that a product is "temporarily out of stock" on the category page.  Any way to do this already built in?  I didn't find anything but might be wrong.

If not, has anyone done this modification?

	Is this something that can be accomplished simply by having a developer edit the category / sub-category page to show a message based on stock availability? Or is there a way to do this in ProductCart?

	Hi Tim, Sorry I didn't notice this post in December. We built the feature you are describing into a couple sites by adding a column to the product table, supporting that field on the product admin and CSV import tools, then displaying it on the category and product detail pages.
