as it is now if a customer is logged in as a retail customer they see the retail price. and if they are logged in as a wholesale customer they get the wholesale price. Does anyone out there know how i can go about making BOTH prices visable for either customer? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The brief answer is that there is logic on each page (for the product detail see viewprdcode.asp) that looks to see if the visitor is logged in, and if so are they a wholesaler.  The default is to display retail, else wholesale if they qualify.

So the solution is to locate that code and alter it to show both, and you will probably have to deal with a bit of formatting (such as a line break).

Hi,
Off the top of my head - so test it to see if I'm recalling this correctly, you could set up a Pricing Category and move all your wholesale customers into it. Then, when they are shown prices they are shown the default price and their special deal.

It's an easy and quick test - Create a pricing category and create a test customer assigned to that - make sure, as this is for wholesale customers, that you tick the box in the pricing category to give those customers wholesale privileges.

Then add a price for that pricing category to a product and go and look at it whilst logged in as your test customer.  If you have the Apparel or BTO versions I suggest testing those types of products as well.

Hi,
I set up wholesale pricing and a new Pricing Category, I am using a test product where I listed a wholesale price, and a price for the new Pricing Category.  However, when I login (as a wholesaler) I only see the retail price.  Any thoughts?
