Hi All,
I'm having a problem when editing a product. If I have a product which needs 1 1/2" etc in the description, I will use the HTML attribute (& frac12; without the space) to get ½. Works fine until I go in to edit that item again. At that time it shows ½ in the description (not the html attribute). If I don't re-insert the & frac12; in place of the ½ then the preview shows a question mark in a triangle instead of the ½. This is how it looks in CP when I set it up: Available in sizes 22" to 40" (in 2" increments) and in 3 widths, 1", 1½" and 1¾" and this is how it looks when I go in to edit it: Available in sizes 22" to 40" (in 2" increments) and in 3 widths, 1", 1½" and 1¾" and it is this second example that will produce the "question mark in the triangle" upon viewing. Does anyone know why this happens or why PC doesn't hold the & frac12; code in the product description field rather than converting it to the ½? |
