Here's what I'm trying to do:
I want to use the Promotions feature like an Instant Rebate. I want the Promotion to apply to one product, regardless of the quantity. So, I set up a promotion to take $100 off a specific product. However, even if I set the Quantity Trigger to 1, the promotion doesn't take effect until the quantity ordered is 2 or more. There does not seem to be a way to set the Quantity Trigger to 0. I want the promotion to apply even if there is only a quantity of 1. Is there a way to make this work? If so, what am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance! Ben |

Hi Ben,
Have you considered a coupon code instead, or just reducing the price? I don't see the logic of a quantity dicount for a single product as it just means that you show an inflated product price. |

We sell photographic equipment and are required to offer a manufacturer's rebate. Some rebates are instant (applied at checkout) and some are mail-in with proof of purchase. In the case of an instant rebate, we don't want the customer to have to enter a coupon code.
Doesn't really matter now as I solved the problem by editing the ModPromotionPrd.asp file. Thanks! |

Hi Ben, thanks for the explanation, makes sense now!
We will look into incorporating this into a future release. |
