Hi there,

Here is my problem.
I was trying to upload one pant that comes in different colors (red, brown...). In my business each pant has a specific style, and each color has a different sku.
  • I created the listing of the parent
  • Marked the product as apparel
  • Created two options group (one color, one size)
  • When I automatically created the sub-product, I didnt find a way so that every red pant has a specific sku and a specific picture?

Does someone know how to do that, your help will greatly be appreciated.

After you generate your subproducts, then drill into the subproduct admin screen.  There you can personalize the sku number, the image assignments, the inventory/weight/price variations, and so on.

Just be careful when you are updating the subproducts through the batching process because you can wipe out all your manual edits if you select rebuild.

I have never used the image naming feature, but it seems like a good idea if you are able to plan ahead. I never plan that far ahead so all my images have unique names and I have to manually update the fields with them.
