I would like to modify my stores to keep the wholesale customers logged in.
Particularly when a customer closes then reopens his/her browser. So that upon re-visiting the webstore the customer is already logged in. Any ideas or hiccups I should be aware of? |

Hi Josh,
You could do this using cookies in the same way the "Restore saved shopping cart on next visit" works to "remember me/keep me logged in" on the next visit. I would definitely make this a user option, though, perhaps with the alternate option "This is a shared/public computer". As for session persistence while logged in, you could easily adapt our Admin Session Keep-Alive (http://www.wmsmerchantservices.com/shopping-carts/ProductCart/admin-session-keep-alive.asp) by wrapping the JavaScript call here within a server side check on their customer status level ("wholesale").
