    Posted: 04-December-2009 at 12:09am
Hi all,
In the Setting -> Image & navigation sub-menu, we can auto-generate some links. Do any body know how can we set an url for it to generate a correct one. My problem is that it auto-generate the links to our testing server which I don't want.
Thanks

Have you tried generating "relative links" for the time being?  If you are running from a DEV URL, and didn't transfer DNS yet, you can use such relative links - and once you transfer DNS they should work for the permanent domain as well.

Does that help?

Thanks for your quick reply, Greg. We run it in the production URL. How can I find the "relative link"? All of pages seems link to the corrected url, but some buttons such as "back", "continue shopping", etc. links to the dev url.
I think we missed a step (but not sure) when we moved our application from dev url to production url.

May I see your site please?  I take it you are up and running on your production URL then?

BTW, "relative" and "absolute" are options on the nav generator screen.

Here is our production url
http://www.johnwaynestockandsupply.com/ProductCart/pc/home.asp
if you go through the process to place an order, at the Payment/place order, you click at "Back" button, it links to our dev url

Check the store URL in "includes/storeconstants.asp" and the SSL URL under "Settings > Store Settings".
