Affiliate commission balances

   Is there a way to generate a report showing the current commission balances for each affiliate?

We only pay out commissions when the affiliate's balance has reached $25 or more, so what I'm looking for is a way to generate a report that shows me a list of all the affiliates and their current unpaid commission balance. At this point, we have too many affiliates for it to be practical to look at each affiliate's balance one at a time. The Affiliate Sales report doesn't show their current total balance, and in the Custom Data Export you can only export the affiliates' commission percentage, not their balance.

	We had a similar idea to save on processing cost (time and effort) and postage. We noticed that we could not run such a report either, and it was to hard to track by looking at each account. We basically switched to sending out commission checks once every 3 months. Even if the amount it only one dollar. We would also like to see International affiliates. It would be nice, if they can give us a paypal account to send money to. Otherwise it is to difficult to send funds internationally.

	Kristen: this report definitely makes sense. We should be able to create that kind of report pretty quickly. We will add it to our Development "To Do" for the next release and will provide updated files for testing by replying to this thread. We'll have the files ready soon. 	Another nice thing for the affiliate system is a better search for products for an affiliate to add. Now they just get a drop down list of just names of products... it would be nice if it was more of a breakdown by category then products with images... basically just like your browsing the the normal site... but each product will have its affiliate code link below it. Maybe something to consider in the future.

	I like that idea. This could work like the gift registry. Log in as an affiliate, and add all the items you like to your affiliate link registry. Then you have all the links on one page and you can work from there.
