I have been trying to figure this out for quite sometime now.
I can replicate the error in both my store and early impact demo store. If I visit my categories.asp page a list of categories shows up as expected. Starting from the browse catalog link (viewcategories.asp) When I click on any given category link a pagestyle is added. Such as: viewcategories?pageStyle=h&idCategory=2 The pageStyle comes from whatever the store's main display setting is and then sticks with the category. Here is the code from viewcategories.asp: <a href="<%=pcStrCatLink%>"> This link is attaching a pagestyle that shouldn't be there. Or maybe it should by design???? It is kind of frustrating because I want my category pages to display as designed per category level not per store level. Is there a way to edit the pagestyle out? Thanks for your help. Josh |

This is a known issue and it was resolved at the beginning of January. The fix was posted in the "Just In" section.
The "Just In" section contains fixes between releases. Here is the fix: Browse by Category Style Issue Released on 01.06.10. Issue: an incorrect page style was in some cases passed to subcategories, even if the top-level category used the correct page display style. Edited by earlyimp - 25-March-2010 at 3:00am |
