Right now as orders come in, the are all, by default, in pending status.
If they pay with Credit Card or if they pay with Check it is marked pending.
Since we offer memberships... the order is actually a membership.
when this specific item is order, the membership, we have to go in.. and manually change the customer from RETAIL to WHOLESALE... then go into options and change
idCustomerLevel from level 1 to level 2 We need this to AUTOMATICALLY happend for those that pay credit cards... so they purchaser has access to the membership access to the site...
If they pay by check... the pending is ok and we can manually change when we recieve payment.
Please advise... |

Hi Dominic,
There is no field idCustomerLevel that I can find in ProductCart so I presume the membership is to another part of the site not directly related to ProductCart. You will need to get some custom code written to achieve what you want to do. |

Actually... I am referring to... ORDER ID field... this is the field by default... when you go to check the orders you have... it is a list of orders and each order has a ORDER ID...
WE just want to change the order id so it starts at a higher number

Hi,
I don't see any possible connection between the order ID and access to any part of a website. Are you mixing this up with your other post? |

Hi Dominic,
OK - I know what these are now - These are "Special Customer Fields" and "idCustomerLevel" is the name that whoever set it up on the store chose to give it - although personally I find it odd to use something that sounds more like a programming variable name that something more easily meaningful to the users. To see them go to Customers > Manage Special Fields These are informational fields and there is no code, other than to gather and display the information, within ProductCart - you will still need custom code to modify these. I assume there is some custom code already referencing this filed if changing that value allows access to some area of the website. Edited to correct post.
