I don't know is i'm posting this topic in the right forum, so if not, please forgive me. Is it possible to have website visitors type their email address in a little inputform to subscribe (or desubscribe) to the newsletter? It's a common option in many websites. So I don't want users to have to register before they can subscribe. Can anyone help me? |

If they are not a customer, yet you may want to set up a easy form to let them registar outside of the cart and either email you the information or store it on the server as a txt or db file. You can put it on a seperate html page and link to it like the about us page. That will also let you explain about the newsletter in detail, maybe have a link to a sample copy. If you ar up to it real easy to do a mailto: link with subject newsletter subscription in the right border just add it to the footer template file.
