My site is being indexed under https://www.ultimatewatermassage.com in addition to http://www.ultimatewatermassage.com. I think it may be due to the fact that once someone registers or logs in they stay in https:// version pages for the rest of their visit. I would like them to be returned to the non secure location once they leave the checkout area.

Do you have a "robots.txt" file in use on your shop box? Also, it's unlikely that your site is being indexed based on what you've described as crawl flow...in other words...a search engine spider isn't going to have an account to log in to your shop with, thus, they wouldn't be getting into the path you've described. It's fairly standard procedure for a search engine spider to just check domains for https content as well...just block it in a robots file. |

Did you ever work out a solution for this? I have the same issue and hope you might share your knowledge either publically or by email. Thx Geoff |
