This is just a tip for those that are looking for a shipping scale, label printer, or computer.  For this you need to have an UPS account to take advantage of special UPS pricing.  UPS cut deals with manufacturers enabling UPS customers to buy peripherals at 30% off.  Ironically UPS does not advertise this and it is hard to find on their website.  So here is the link:

Last time (5 years ago) I've ordered a label printer and it did come with the UPS printer driver.  This prevented it from working with Endicia.  The fix was easy.  I simply had to download the regular driver from the printer's manufacturer's site and it now works with both systems on the same computer.  Not sure, if that still applies to the printers.  I did not have this driver issue with the shipping scale or computer, so it could be that they no longer do that.  Anyway the link is worse the savings.

I'll add one more tip that may help somebody.  I was running vista 64 for a bit and ups said my thermal printer would not work.  I downloaded the drivers off the zebra (or some other ups thermal printer, forget which one).  They supported vista 64, but ups online would not recognize the printer.  I renamed the printer to ups thermal (or whatever it was named before) and everything worked great!  I have since switched back to XP32 because vista was a giant piece of crap that caused me all kinds of issues.
