I'm having some issues with the page onepagecheckout.asp in Internet Explorer. The page works just fine in Firefox and Safari, but just refreshes and clears all info in IE.
Basically, what is happening is that when you click to login or if you're a new customer after entering all you billing address info and hit "continue" the page just refreshes and posts all the info entered into the address bar followed by x & y coordinates. I know this probably has something to do with how IE handles Image Input buttons, but shouldn't this issue have been already addressed? I had made some changes to the default checkout page, but I uploaded the original SP4 onepagecheckout.asp file and I still have the same issues. http://www.badassbabiesclothing.com/shop/pc/onepagecheckout.asp Any suggestions? Cheers. |

Hi, This is almost certainly due to customisations, most usually javascript related - temporarily restore the default header & footer and see if the issue is resolved. Also please check you are on SP4.

bcrabtree, please let me know if/how you resolve this issue. I'm interested to see if it is in fact due to code customizations.

Hi Hamish,
Unfortunately yes, I have already tried restoring all default header and footer files and I'm still experiencing the same issue. And yes, I am fully upgraded to SP4. I have checked all my files against the defaults. The only customizations I have made have been purely CSS with some very basic HTML changes. I have not touched any of the base ASP code. Cheers. B |

I would open a trouble ticket. However, due to your recent policy changes, I'm not about to pay $200 for you to fix something that shouldn't be an issue.
I reverted back to the default SP3 onepagecheckout.asp file and everything works fine. So obviously it's an issue with SP4. |

I always take every report seriously. There are hundreds of different checkout scenarios that can take place depending on which options you have selected in the control panel. No one else has reported the issue, but there is always the chance that this specific scenario hasn't come up before. I also keep in mind that for every report like this that is caused by a bug; there are a dozen others resulting from mismatched files, etc. So before we start a panic, I would like to take look for you. However, with all the possible checkout options I will require access to the store. Can you please PM me your URL and control panel access?

After some trouble shooting, and some new SP4 files supplied by Matt it looks like everything is now working as it should. The default files I was working off were missing some code, I don't know if the files never had the code, or if I accidentally deleted the code somewhere along the line. Oh well, crisis averted...
