Default product option

Message Topic Search Topic Options Post Reply Create New Topic Printable Version Translate Topic

   I am developing a site where customers have the option to purchase hardback or paperback. I have created an option group called "Format" with the two attributes, but we want to show the default as "Paperback" (which is the first atribute in the list) rather than show "select" so the book type is always paperback unless selected otherwise. Any suggestions how to force?

	Apply a little bit of logic in viewPrdCode.asp which causes that option to be selected.
