Has anyone come up with a modification that when a visitor performs and add to cart function it does an AJAX popup window.

A great example can be found at: www.apmex.com

Thanks.

Update:  I've brought this to a state where I'm fairly satisfied with the results and invite comment:
http://www.marineproductsoutlet.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idc ategory=&idproduct=42

You will note that it was necessary to refresh the page.  The original request was for AJAX and depending upon demand we may ultimately release such a feature but it was going to be a significantly larger effort.  What we do here is to intercept the add-to-cart request, perform a bit of extra logic, and instead of redirecting the browser to viewcart.asp - we return to the calling page.  then up comes the confirmation box in a DIV layer.  The position of the DIV and the styling of the confirmation can be revised to suit your requirements.

Availability and pricing of this new add-on will be announced later this week.

This feature is now available:
http://www.greybearddesign.com/productcart/add-to-cart-confi rm/

It works with the standard cart ".asp" pages as well as stores which have been altered for the SEO HTML page mod.
