After an RMA request has been submitted by a customer and we have issued an RMA number, the customer sends their product back and we accept it and change the "Units Returned" field in the control panel from 0 to the total number of returned items. Is there any indication from the customers perspective that we have accepted the return and issued them a credit? At the bottom of the customers previous order details where the RMA section is, there doesn't appear to be any indicator that their package was received even though we say it was. I realize that we send out an e-mail stating that their package was returned and have issued them a credit, but their previous order details just seem to be hanging without any closure to say the products were in fact returned and accepted. From a customers perspective, please let me know if I'm not looking in the right location. Thanks in advance. |

The customer will see the credit in the order details. You can also use the Help Desk to notify them. There is no "Partially Returned" order status in ProductCart, so the order status does not change (unless everything has been returned, in which case you can change the order status to "Return"). |

There is now a Partially Returned status with a brown circle (version 3.1)- is this new since this post, and does it behave how we would expect it to?
