Hi
How do I add a banner image with a link on each page. I have several categories and subcategories. Is there a way that I could add different banner image for each categories and or subcategories.
thanks

I have used Absolute Banner Manager (and other applications) from www.xigla.com on a number of projects.  Juan's code is easy to install, easy to use.

Hi, Have a look at the "Long Description" associated with the categories. You can use the HTML editor to add a banner type image or flash movie etc.  It may or may not appear in a suitable place. If the position is OK for you needs then, if you have a very large number of categories, you may wish to build the descriptions externally and then import them.

I find it's easier to create more complicated code in an external editor like dreamweaver and then copy the code into the html editor using the code view (<>) in the top right of the menu.

The current html editor is fine for simple stuff but struggles when you try to do something more advanced.

Of course this isn't ideal if your customer is doing it themselves.
