Hi,
My ProductCart install is not adding httpS) to all of my email confirmations etc. Our entire store is on an ssl enabled server so any link to just http fails. I've checked the ssl radio button in the Store Settings and also checked use SSL at Registration/Login. Is this something I need to change in an includes? Some other file? Any help is appreciated! Thanks Steve |

Hi Steve - if you look at the e-mail settings screen, the content of e-mail messages appear on that page, and within those text strings are the URLs that might be clicked on. You can make changes there, but if that's not hitting all of the places that the e-mail changes need to occur, the next step might not be easy. At that point you might ask that the client run the site in a more conventional configuration. |

Very curious configuration.
Are you saying that the whole site is forced to run through port 443 and port 80 is shut down?
I'm interested to know how you have this configured.
If you could make port 80 available and therefore allow http, you could then create a global.asa file and use it to sniff the protocol and force https. Another angle could be to use ISAPI_Rewrite is that is available to you.

He is hosting the site on a municipal entity's private server where I don't believe he has a lot of say as to the configuration, or so I understand it from off-forum conversations.

Yeah. Just wondering how ports are configured. Should be able to handle this at global level, really if port 80 is not denied.
